Advanced Plastic Extrusion LLC ("Apex")

Effective date: October 19, 2026

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Advanced Plastic Extrusion LLC ("Apex," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.apex-extrusion.com (the "Site"), fill out our Contact Us form, chat with us, sign up for text messages, or otherwise communicate with us. By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms and Conditions at www.apex-extrusion.com/terms-and-conditions.

We are a family-owned manufacturer of custom extruded plastic sheet and rollstock. We sell to businesses, and we do not sell products to consumers through this Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you use our Contact Us form, we collect:

  • First and last name

  • Email address (required)

  • Mobile phone number (optional)

  • Company name (optional)

  • Your message and anything else you choose to tell us

  • Whether you checked the box to receive text messages, and whether you agreed to our terms

We also collect what you send us by email (for example, at info@apex-extrusion.com), by phone, or through the live chat window. This may include your contact details, business details, project or product requirements, and, if you apply for a job, your resume and the information in it.

[CONFIRM OR DELETE: Online invoice payments. If you pay an Apex invoice online, the payment is handled by our payment processor through Wix. We receive your name, billing details, and payment status, but not your full card number.]

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this information through cookies, scripts, and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Information from other sources. Our visitor analytics provider may tell us the name and general business details of the company associated with the IP address used to visit the Site (see Section 5). We may also receive information about you from job sites, such as Indeed, if you apply for a job through them.

Categories of information (summary). In short, we may collect identifiers and contact information (name, email, phone, company, IP address); commercial and professional information (your company, job title, and product or project needs); internet and device activity (how you use the Site); communications (your messages and chat transcripts); and employment information (if you apply for a job). We do not ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or financial account numbers through the Site. Please do not send it to us.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions and requests for quotes, samples, or product information

  • Provide, process, and support quotes, orders, and customer service

  • Send you text messages and emails you have agreed to receive (see Sections 4 and 6)

  • Review job applications and resumes

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it

  • Understand which businesses are interested in our products

  • Protect against fraud, spam, and misuse

  • Comply with the law and enforce our terms

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers. We use companies that help us run the Site and our business. These include Wix.com (which hosts the Site and stores Contact Us form submissions), Tidio (live chat), Lead Forensics (business visitor identification), and [SMS PROVIDER NAME] (text messages). They may use the information only to provide services to us, under their own privacy policies and their agreements with us.

  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we believe it is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when it is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Apex, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers. If Apex is involved in a merger, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

  • With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you ask us to or agree to it.

We do not sell your personal information. [CONFIRM: Apex does not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing.]

Text message (SMS) information is never shared for marketing. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text message consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that help us deliver our text messages (such as our SMS platform and wireless carriers), and only for that purpose.

4. Text Messages (SMS Program)

If you check the text message box on our Contact Us form and provide your mobile number, you agree to receive automated promotional text messages from Advanced Plastic Extrusion LLC (Apex) at that number. [CONFIRM AND LIST MESSAGE TYPES, e.g., product news, promotions, and quote or order updates.]

  • Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. You can still contact us and do business with us without signing up.

  • Message frequency. You may receive up to 4 messages per month. [CONFIRM: matches the form; update both if this changes.]

  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

  • Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming that you have opted out, and then no more texts unless you sign up again. You may also opt out by any other reasonable means, such as calling us at (252) 224-1444 or emailing info@apex-extrusion.com.

  • Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us at (252) 224-1444 or info@apex-extrusion.com.

  • Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Your number. Please only provide a mobile number that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use. Tell us if you change or give up that number.

We keep records of your consent and opt-out choices as required by law. Additional SMS terms appear in our Terms and Conditions.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Tools

Cookies are small data files placed on your browser or device. The Site uses the following:

  • Wix (site hosting). Our Site is built and hosted on Wix.com. Wix places cookies that are needed for security, site performance, and core functions, and it provides us with basic visitor statistics. See Wix's cookie list at https://support.wix.com/en/article/cookies-and-your-wix-site and the Wix Privacy Policy at https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.

  • Tidio (live chat). The chat window on our Site is provided by Tidio. If you use it, Tidio processes your messages and any contact details you provide, along with technical data about your device and visit, and may set cookies. Chats may be answered by our staff or by an automated chatbot. See https://www.tidio.com/privacy-policy/.

  • Lead Forensics (business visitor identification). We use Lead Forensics to understand which businesses visit our Site. Its script receives your IP address and information about your visit (such as pages viewed) and tries to match the IP address to a company. It is designed to identify businesses, not individual people, and may set a first-party cookie. See https://www.leadforensics.com/compliance/privacy-policy/. To ask Lead Forensics not to process your professional contact data, email data-compliance@leadforensics.com.

  • Google Search Console. We use Google Search Console to see how our Site performs in Google search results. This tool gives us search data and does not place cookies on your device through our Site.

  • Social sharing buttons. Our blog posts have share links for Facebook, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn. If you click one, that service may collect information about you under its own privacy policy.

[CONFIRM: If Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, or other tools are added later, list them here with an opt-out link (for Google Analytics, https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).]

Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the Site, such as live chat, may not work properly. Blocking cookies may not stop IP-based visitor identification, because your IP address is sent whenever you load a web page. Using a VPN or a privacy-focused browser or extension may limit it. To learn more about cookies, visit https://allaboutcookies.org.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, and the Site does not currently respond to them. [CONFIRM. Also confirm how the Site handles Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, if at all.]

6. Email

If you contact us or do business with us, we may email you about your inquiry, quotes, orders, and products. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by emailing info@apex-extrusion.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will honor your request promptly, and within 10 business days. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your quotes, orders, or account.

7. Job Applicants

Our Careers page links to our job listings on Indeed (https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Advanced-Plastic-Extrusion/jobs). Indeed's own privacy policy governs information you provide on Indeed. If you email your resume to us, we use it only to evaluate you for employment and keep it as described in Section 9.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Our Site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and our hosting and service providers maintain their own security programs. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through the contact form, chat, or email.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy, such as responding to you, maintaining business records, and meeting legal, tax, and accounting requirements. [CONFIRM RETENTION PERIODS, e.g., contact form submissions and chat transcripts for __ years; resumes for __ years; SMS consent and opt-out records for at least __ years.]

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your Rights and Choices

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you

  • Correct information that is inaccurate

  • Delete your information, subject to any legal or business records we must keep

  • Stop sending you marketing emails or text messages

To make a request, email info@apex-extrusion.com or call (252) 224-1444. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents. Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), California residents may ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information this way. You can contact us with any questions.

State privacy laws. Several states, including California (CCPA/CPRA), have consumer privacy laws that apply only to businesses that meet certain thresholds, such as annual revenue or the number of residents whose information is processed. Based on our size and activities, we believe Apex is not currently subject to these laws. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL: whether Apex meets any state privacy-law threshold. If it does, this section must be expanded with the required notices and rights.] Even so, we will consider any privacy request you send us.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Site links to websites we do not control, such as Indeed and social media services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.

13. Users Outside the United States

We are based in the United States, and the Site is intended for U.S. users. Information we collect is stored and processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Site [CONFIRM: and/or notify you by email] before the changes take effect. If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated policy.
